A juried show hosted by the African Violet Council of Florida. Growers from thirteen states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia) participate in the show & sale. Many vendors will be on hand selling African violets, other gesneriads and supplies.<\/p>\n

Jacksonville Porchfest<\/a>

Jacksonville PorchFest is a FREE event held in Historic Springfield, a community just north of downtown Jacksonville, Florida on the first Saturday of November. During the afternoon, we\u2019ll have over 18 performers on porches throughout this beautiful neighborhood, followed by an evening concert in Klutho Park. You\u2019ll also get to enjoy over 50 vendors ranging from food trucks to fine art. Proceeds of PorchFest support arts related activities in Jacksonville\u2019s urban core.<\/p>\n

PorchFest Line-Up:
\nJacksonville PorchFest is proud to present our ALL WOMEN headliners. We’ll kick off the festival at noon with Mama Blue in Klutho Park, and we’ll have Alanna Royale and Maggie Koerner closing down the show on the Klutho stage later that evening.<\/p>\n

Our Returning Favorites include Mal Jones The Lyricist, Mere Woodard Band, Universal Green, Spade McQuade, Kim Reteguiz and the Black Cat Bones, Junco Royals, King Eddie and Pili Pili, Chris Thomas Band, Beau and the Burners, and Ouija Brothers.<\/p>\n

Our New Porch Performances include Kara Frasier, Tad Jennings, Let’s Ride Brass Band, Jags Drum Line, Soju, Honey Hounds, and The Brent Byrd Band.<\/p>\n

Veterans Day Parade<\/a>

Join the City of Jacksonville as we honor true American heroes – our veterans and active-duty military. This patriotic parade features more than 4,000 participants including grand marshals, senior military officials, active-duty and retired military, veterans groups, local high school marching bands, decorative floats, giant balloons, JROTC units and more! The parade will begin on Gator Bowl Blvd. near TIAA Bank Field and end at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center.<\/p>\n

Riverside Arts Market<\/a>

Riverside Arts Market is a weekly market hosted on Saturdays from 10 a.m. \u2013 3 p.m., rain or shine. RAM features a variety of small businesses from farmers to artists to makers and bakers. Under the Fuller Warren Bridge, you\u2019ll find a family-friendly event that attracts 4,000+ visitors every Saturday. The riverfront amphitheater seats 350 people and features hours of live music.<\/p>\n

RAM is one of several Florida markets that participates in the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP). SNAP recipients have an opportunity to purchase local produce from 10 a.m. \u2013 3 p.m. and double their dollars through our partnership with Florida Organic Growers\u2019 incentive programs.<\/p>\n

Every first Saturday of the month, enjoy a brew while sitting along the St. Johns River or while exploring the market.<\/p>\n

5th Annual FBG Barrel-Aged, Sour & Cider Fest<\/a>

Join us for a celebration of Florida craft beer at the 5th Annual FBG Barrel-Aged, Sour & Cider Fest in Jacksonville, FL. This ALL-FLORIDA CRAFT BEER event will be held in the parking lot of the Intuition Ale Works brewery space located downtown at 929 E. Bay Street.<\/p>\n

Sample delicious barrel-aged and sour beers – and ciders! – hand-crafted by some of Florida’s best brewers while raising money for the Florida Brewers Guild, the nonprofit trade association committed to preserving the rights of craft brewers throughout the state.<\/p>\n
