Stuck inside, now what?<\/strong><\/p>\nFor those of us who have been furloughed or who are now working from home, it can be frustrating to be cooped up inside, especially when it is so nice out. You may be tempted to go outside and hang out with family or friends, but that’s not self-distancing and it isn’t safe.<\/p>\n
To really stay Safer at Home, it’s best to keep 6 feet between you and anyone you aren’t living with at the time of the Safer at Home order.<\/p>\n
It’s safe, and even recommended to go outside for a walk, jog, or other exercise – just be sure to keep your distance from those passing you. Give wide berth to those using the same space. For more information on keeping physically safer during the coronavirus outbreak, click here.<\/p>\n
As of this writing, there are 691 confirmed coronavirus cases in Duval county, and 13 deaths.<\/p>\n
We can all do our part to flatten the curve by staying home as much as possible and practicing good hygiene. The Safer at Home order is currently indefinite, but if we all do our part to stay home and stay safe, we can see the other side of this sooner than later.<\/p>\n
