Cases of Covid 19 hospitalizations are going down, but that’s no reason to become complacent. With two vaccines available and several more in the works, you may be eligible for the vaccine. If you’re a senior over the age of 65 you can sign up for the vaccine. If you are a health care worker with direct contact to patients you are eligible for the vaccine. If you are a resident or staff at a long term care facility or are extremely vulnerable to Covid-19, you are eligible for the vaccine.

While the rollout in Florida has been better than in other states, there is an incredibly high demand and you can expect to wait a bit. Currently you can make an appointment for a vaccine at the following places in Jacksonville, FL:

Regency Mall

9501 Arlington Expressway

UF Health North

15255 Max Leggett Pkwy

UF Health Jacksonville

University Hospital

655 8th St W

If you are not yet eligible for the vaccine, but have symptoms of Covid 19 testing is readily available throughout the state. Testing is still very important as many people are asymptomatic and can spread the virus without knowing they have it. If you have been exposed to someone who tests positive for Covid 19 it is a good idea to get tested. If you have symptoms and feel well enough please get tested. If you can’t get tested please quarantine yourself until you feel better. Below is a list of places to get tested for Covid-19:
