Summer is coming to an end. Sure, it’s still July, but back to school sales are popping up, and I’ve spotted Halloween displays in some local stores already. There’s still time to get your summer on. If you haven’t gotten out to enjoy the longer days then now is the time to get out and take part in summer. National Night Out

Plan your own block party for this annual event. The National Night Out is a way for communities and local emergency services personnel to come together to strengthen community. National Night Out takes place on the first Tuesday of August, but you can choose a different date if it works better for your community.

Jacksonville Caribbean Carnival

Where: Downtown Jacksonville

Historic Springfield Main Street Cruise

Each 4th Saturday of the month from 5pm-8pm, come on out to Main Street to enjoy the classic cars and local restaurants at the Historic Springfield Main Street Cruise. Classic and funky cars are driven up & down Main Street, just like they used to do in the old days, with patrons along the sidewalks enjoying the camaraderie and cars. There’s no cost, just show up with your classic car, old beater, or on foot to have a good time!

Melanin Fest 2018

Melanin Fest is a unique festival in that it unites so many type of aspects of art, business, health, spirituality, and community. This year will be my 3rd year putting together this event and we are so excited to be moving the Festival to Jacksonville, FL. With such a need and demand for something like this within the Duval County community we are defiantly excited to help aid in the progression of our culture and our communities. Bruval Void’s Craft Beer Festival
